Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Antoine Joseph (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit antoinejoseph.com (the “Site”). We aim to collect as little as possible and to follow Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Information you send us. The Site has no sign-up forms and no user accounts. If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

Technical information. Like all websites, the Site is delivered by servers that receive your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes this information to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. We do not use it to identify you.

Cookies and tracking

The Site does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

Third-party services

To display the Site’s typefaces, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address under Google’s privacy policy. The Site also links to other websites — including iLuvAccounting, Complete Marketer, Northrose Educational Resources, TidyCal and the app stores. Those sites, and the iLuvAccounting app, have their own privacy policies, which govern any information you give them.

How we use and share information

We use the information above only to run the Site and respond to you. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we share it only with service providers who help us operate the Site, or where required by law.

Retention and security

We keep emails only as long as needed for the purpose they were sent, and use reasonable safeguards to protect them. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to its use, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days, as Alberta’s privacy law requires.

Children

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
